The Bitcoin price potential is simply staggering to contemplate. Considering there are slightly more than 7 billion people in the world, and the absolute limit to the number of Bitcoins that will ever be created is 21 million, that means that if Bitcoin was divided up equally, each person on planet earth would be able to own 3/100ths of one Bitcoin. That’s 0.03 Bitcoin per person on Earth.
Of course, it will take until the year 2140 for all 21 million Bitcoins to be mined into existence. Nevertheless, assuming 0.03 Bitcoin per person on the planet, if Bitcoin was the sole currency, the value of Bitcoin would be approximately $3.57 million each.
So the potential or further price rise in Bitcoin is substantial.
Looking exclusively at China, hedge fund manager Mark Hart stated that Bitcoin would be worth $1.6 million each of all the money in China made its way into Bitcoin.
The bottom line is that the potential price of Bitcoin is much, much, much higher than it is right now.
